WebLink for Kenwood and Pioneer Receivers
Get the Best in High-Tech Aftermarket Multimedia Receivers from Car Stereo City San Diego
If you’re a car tech junkie, but haven’t heard of WebLink, you’re seriously missing out! With the touch of a button, you can connect your smartphone and your vehicle into one seamless system. True, many newer cars come standard with some sort of connected car technology - but much of this technology is only available at higher (read: more expensive) trim packages. Plus, where does that leave the rest of us who don’t own a brand new car?
WebLink is a revolutionary app that can transform your entire driving experience, allowing you to connect your smartphone to your car stereo system. This means you can stream your music directly from your smartphone, listening to your favorite songs while driving through San Diego with the windows rolled down. Along with cordlessly streaming music, you can also use some of your other beloved Apple or Android apps. Whether you need driving directions, need to check the weather, or want to listen to your favorite audiobook, WebLink allows you to do all of this and more.
Which car audio receivers are WebLink-compatible?
A variety of car audio receivers are compatible with WebLink, including some of the leading head units from Kenwood and Pioneer. However, not all receivers are WebLink-compatible, so step one is to check your receiver’s compatibility.
In general, the best way to know if your car audio head unit is a WebLink receiver is to look for the WebLink logo. The WebLink logo will either be on the owner’s manual or on the receiver (what you would think of as the physical car stereo) itself. If you don’t happen to have your owner’s manual handy - no judgment here - you can simply download the WebLink application and try to connect. If you’re still unsure, feel free to bring your car into our Mesa Boulevard location, where one of our car audio technicians can inspect your vehicle and its stereo system. Our installation experts at Car Stereo City San Diego can help you determine if your vehicle is compatible with WebLink.
Kenwood WebLink receivers
For more than a decade, Kenwood has been one of the leading names in car audio and vehicle electronics accessories. Their product quality is unmatched, and anyone who has a Kenwood car audio product in their vehicle knows why. This is one of the many reasons why we carry Kenwood car audio systems and accessories at Car Stereo City.
Kenwood has a great partnership with WebLink, and many of Kenwood’s leading car audio receivers are WebLink-compatible. An example of some Kenwood WebLink receivers include the Kenwood DDX775BH and the Kenwood Excelon DDX795. Most of the newer models of Kenwood car audio receivers are now WebLink-compatible, but if you are unsure of whether your Kenwood receiver is WebLink-compatible, contact Car Stereo City today.
Pioneer WebLink receivers
Much like Kenwood, Pioneer is another household name in the world of car audio. With a storied history that started in 1938, Pioneer has established itself over the decades as a powerhouse producer of high-quality aftermarket car audio accessories, among other car electronics.
Pioneer likes to stay on the cutting edge of all of the latest and greatest technology - it’s part of why they’ve been around for so long. It’s no wonder that Pioneer would make many of its receivers WebLink-compatible. Receivers such as the Pioneer DMH-C5500NEX, Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX, and Pioneer AVH-3500NEX all easily integrate with the WebLink platform. Almost all newer Pioneer receiver models will be WebLink-compatible, but to make sure you have a WebLink-compatible Pioneer car audio receiver, you need to talk to an expert.
